A Trello card representing a roadmap feature may spawn ten Linear issues, but the Trello card has no idea when those issues are completed. When a Trello card moves to In Development, GAIA creates the corresponding Linear issues. As those issues progress and complete, GAIA updates the Trello card automatically. When a Trello card is moved to the Ready for Development list, GAIA breaks it into Linear issues based on the card checklist items, assigns them to the relevant Linear team, and attaches the Trello card URL for reference.
Update Trello card status from Linear progress
As Linear issues linked to a Trello card progress, GAIA updates the card's checklist items and custom fields so product managers see a live progress indicator on the roadmap card without checking Linear.
Auto-move Trello cards when all issues ship
When all Linear issues linked to a Trello card are marked Done, GAIA automatically moves the card to the Shipped list on the Trello board, giving the roadmap an accurate picture of what has been delivered.
Attach Linear cycle info to Trello cards
GAIA writes the target Linear cycle to a Trello card's label or custom field so product managers can see at a glance which sprint a feature is scheduled for without asking engineering.
Notify Trello card members of Linear blockers
When a Linear issue linked to a Trello card moves to Blocked, GAIA adds a comment to the Trello card summarizing the blocker so product owners can take cross-team action without waiting for standup.
