When a new Linear issue is tagged with the design label, GAIA searches the connected Figma project for matching frames by name and attaches the direct link, so engineers always have the correct design reference without asking the design team.
Notify engineers when Figma designs are updated
When a designer publishes a new version of a Figma frame linked to an active Linear issue, GAIA adds a comment to the Linear issue flagging the update and summarizing what changed so engineers know to review the latest specs.
Alert designers when implementation begins
When a Linear issue moves from To Do to In Progress, GAIA notifies the designer listed in the Figma file that engineering has started implementation, giving them a window to catch any last-minute spec issues before code is written.
Route Linear design feedback to Figma comments
When an engineer adds a comment on a Linear issue that references a design discrepancy, GAIA posts the feedback as a comment in the linked Figma frame so designers receive it in their native tool without checking Linear.
Track design review status in Linear
GAIA monitors Figma for design approval annotations and updates the corresponding Linear issue status to Design Approved automatically, keeping the issue workflow accurate without requiring designers to update Linear manually.
