When a product requirement task in ClickUp is approved and ready for development, GAIA creates corresponding Linear issues with priority, description, and due date pre-populated from the ClickUp task.
Sync ClickUp sprint timelines to Linear cycles
GAIA reads ClickUp sprint dates and creates matching Linear cycles, ensuring engineering sprints are aligned with the delivery schedule tracked in ClickUp without manual date entry in both tools.
Alert engineers to ClickUp scope changes
When a ClickUp task that has linked Linear issues is edited — priority changed, deadline shifted, requirements updated — GAIA posts a comment on the Linear issue summarizing what changed so engineers are never surprised.
Roll up engineering metrics into ClickUp dashboards
GAIA periodically syncs Linear cycle metrics — velocity, completion rate, lead time — into custom fields on the corresponding ClickUp project so leadership can track engineering health alongside other project KPIs.

Authorize both platforms
Connect your Linear workspace and ClickUp workspace to GAIA. During setup, map Linear teams and projects to the corresponding ClickUp Spaces and Lists.

Set sync direction and field mappings
Define which fields are authoritative in which tool, which status values map between platforms, and which events should trigger cross-platform actions.

GAIA handles ongoing synchronization
From that point on, GAIA monitors both tools and applies updates automatically. Engineers and project managers each work in their preferred tool with confidence that the other side stays current.
