GAIAでLinear + Stripeを自動化
Link payment bugs to Linear and prioritize issues by revenue impact
Payment failures and billing edge cases discovered in Stripe often lack a clear path to the engineering team. A spike in failed charges that surfaces in the Stripe dashboard requires someone to notice it, decide it is an engineering problem, find the right Linear team, and create an issue with enough context to act on. That chain of manual steps means payment issues sit unresolved longer than they should.
GAIA connects Stripe to Linear so payment-related engineering issues are created automatically with full financial context. When Stripe detects a spike in payment failures, a webhook error, or a subscription lifecycle issue, GAIA creates a Linear issue with the Stripe event data, affected customer count, and estimated revenue impact so engineers can prioritize it accurately.
This integration is most valuable for SaaS companies where payment reliability is directly tied to revenue and where engineering prioritization should reflect the business impact of technical issues.
5 自動化できること
LinearとStripeが接続されているときにGAIAができるすべてのこと。
Create Linear issues from Stripe payment failure spikes
When Stripe's failure rate for a given payment method or error code exceeds a configurable threshold, GAIA creates a high-priority Linear issue with the error breakdown, affected customer count, and estimated revenue at risk.
Link Stripe webhook failures to Linear bugs
When Stripe reports repeated webhook delivery failures to your endpoint, GAIA creates a Linear bug with the failing event types, response codes, and a timeline of failures so engineering can diagnose and resolve the integration issue quickly.
Attach revenue impact to existing Linear payment issues
For Linear issues already tagged with a payment label, GAIA queries Stripe for related error events and attaches an estimated revenue impact figure derived from the affected customers' MRR so product teams can prioritize by business value.
Alert engineering when Stripe disputes spike
When Stripe dispute volume exceeds a weekly threshold, GAIA creates a Linear investigation issue with a breakdown of the dispute reasons and amounts so the engineering team can identify whether a code change caused the increase.
Close Linear issues when Stripe errors resolve
When a payment error pattern that triggered a Linear issue returns to baseline in Stripe, GAIA adds a resolution comment to the Linear issue and moves it to Done automatically so resolved payment issues do not linger in the backlog.
設定方法
LinearとStripeを3ステップでGAIAに接続。
- 1
Connect Stripe and Linear to GAIA
Authorize GAIA with your Stripe account and Linear workspace. Configure the Stripe event types and error thresholds that should trigger Linear issue creation.
- 2
Set revenue impact thresholds and routing rules
Define the minimum failure rate or revenue impact that warrants a Linear issue, which Linear team should receive payment issues, and how Stripe customer data should be summarized in issue descriptions.
- 3
Payment issues surface in Linear with business context
GAIA monitors Stripe events and creates Linear issues automatically when thresholds are crossed. Engineers see the financial impact of payment bugs in their issue tracker and can prioritize accordingly.
