Team members can use a Slack command to create new Airtable records on the fly — logging a new client, submitting a content request, or reporting a bug — without leaving Slack. GAIA collects the required fields conversationally and creates the record with all data populated correctly.
Update record status from Slack reactions or commands
When a project task is completed, a team member can react to the associated Slack message with a checkmark emoji and GAIA updates the corresponding Airtable record status to 'Done' — keeping the database current with minimal effort from the team.
Airtable record change notifications in Slack
When an important Airtable record is updated — a client status changes, a project deadline shifts, or an inventory count drops below threshold — GAIA posts a structured notification to the relevant Slack channel so the team can act on the change immediately.
Query Airtable data from Slack
Team members can ask GAIA in Slack 'show me all open projects due this week' or 'how many leads did we add this month?' and GAIA queries the Airtable database and returns a formatted summary directly in the Slack thread without anyone needing to open Airtable.
New record alerts for time-sensitive entries
When a new high-priority record is created in Airtable — a new enterprise lead, a critical bug report, or an urgent client request — GAIA sends an immediate Slack alert to the appropriate channel or individual so response time is minimized.

Authorize GAIA in your Slack workspace and connect your Airtable account. Specify which Airtable bases and tables GAIA should have read and write access to, and which Slack channels should participate in the integration.
