Create Todoist tasks when Drive files are shared with you
When a Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide is shared with you in Drive, GAIA automatically creates a Todoist task with the document title, sharer's name, and a direct link so review items always surface in your task inbox.
Attach Drive files to existing Todoist tasks
Tell GAIA to find and attach a Drive document to a Todoist task by name or keyword. GAIA searches your Drive, confirms the match, and appends the link to the task description so the file is always one click away.
Create Drive docs from Todoist tasks
When a Todoist task involves creating a new document, GAIA can generate a blank Google Doc or from a template in the appropriate Drive folder and link it back to the Todoist task, giving you a head start without leaving your task manager.
Review deadline reminders for shared documents
If a shared Drive document includes a comment asking for feedback by a specific date, GAIA extracts that deadline and sets the due date on the linked Todoist task so you never miss a document review request.
Archive Drive-linked tasks on document completion
When you mark a Todoist task done that is linked to a Drive document, GAIA can move the document to an archive folder in Drive, keeping your working Drive clean and aligned with your task completion status.

Connect Todoist and Google Drive to GAIA
Authorize Todoist and Google Drive in GAIA's integration settings via OAuth. GAIA only accesses files shared with you or in folders you explicitly grant access to.

Set up Drive activity triggers and attachment preferences
Tell GAIA which Drive events should create Todoist tasks — new shares, comments requesting review, or file edits — and which Todoist project those tasks should land in.

GAIA monitors Drive activity and Todoist task changes, creating tasks from Drive events and attaching Drive links to tasks on demand. You can also ask GAIA to audit which tasks are missing document links.
