GAIAでTodoist + GitHubを自動化
Turn GitHub issues assigned to you into Todoist tasks automatically
GitHub is where software development happens: issues are filed, pull requests are reviewed, and bugs are tracked. Todoist is where many developers manage everything else — personal projects, meeting actions, and daily to-dos. The problem is that GitHub notifications are overwhelming and GitHub's own task tracking is built for collaboration, not personal GTD-style organization. Important issues and PR reviews get buried in notification noise.
GAIA bridges Todoist and GitHub so your development obligations surface cleanly in your personal task manager. When a GitHub issue is assigned to you or a PR is ready for your review, GAIA creates a Todoist task with the repository name, issue number, and a direct link. When you resolve a task in Todoist, GAIA can close or comment on the linked GitHub issue. You can also capture a task in Todoist and have GAIA create a corresponding GitHub issue for visibility on the team's board.
This integration is built for developers who want GitHub accountability without living in GitHub's notification UI, and for open-source contributors who manage multiple repositories and need a consolidated personal view of their obligations.
5 自動化できること
TodoistとGitHubが接続されているときにGAIAができるすべてのこと。
Auto-create Todoist tasks from GitHub issue assignments
Whenever a GitHub issue is assigned to you, GAIA instantly creates a Todoist task with the issue title, repository, number, priority label, and a direct link so you can triage from your personal inbox.
PR review reminders in Todoist
GAIA adds a Todoist task every time you're requested as a reviewer on a pull request, including the PR title, author, and repository, so code reviews appear in your daily task list alongside other work.
Create GitHub issues from Todoist tasks
When a Todoist task belongs in a GitHub repository for team visibility, ask GAIA to escalate it. GAIA creates the GitHub issue in the right repo, copies the description, and links the two records together.
Close GitHub issues when Todoist tasks are completed
Checking off a Todoist task that is linked to a GitHub issue triggers GAIA to close the issue with an automated comment, keeping your GitHub issue board clean without requiring a context switch.
Multi-repository consolidated inbox
For contributors to multiple repos, GAIA aggregates all GitHub assignments and review requests across every repository into a single prioritized Todoist project, eliminating the need to check each repo individually.
設定方法
TodoistとGitHubを3ステップでGAIAに接続。
- 1
Connect Todoist and GitHub to GAIA
Authorize Todoist and your GitHub account in GAIA's integration settings. GAIA uses GitHub's OAuth app flow and only requests the repository scopes you specify, keeping private repos private.
- 2
Choose which repositories and event types to sync
Select the GitHub repositories GAIA should monitor and the event types that trigger Todoist task creation — issue assignments, PR review requests, mentions, or all of the above.
- 3
GAIA creates and manages tasks automatically
GAIA listens to GitHub webhooks for your chosen events and creates, updates, or completes Todoist tasks in real time. You can review a daily summary of all GitHub-originated tasks from within GAIA's chat interface.
