When a Linear issue is assigned to an engineer, GAIA sends them a Discord DM with the issue title, priority, description, and a direct link so they are notified immediately in the tool they are already using.
Announce sprint completions to the engineering channel
When a Linear cycle ends, GAIA posts a formatted sprint summary to the designated Discord channel showing issues completed, carry-over, team velocity, and top contributors to celebrate the team's work.
Alert the team to new high-priority issues
When a Linear issue is created or upgraded to Urgent priority, GAIA immediately posts an alert to the engineering Discord channel with full context so the team can react and assign it without delay.
Post blocker alerts to the leads channel
When a Linear issue transitions to Blocked, GAIA sends a structured alert to the team leads Discord channel including the blocking dependency, the affected engineer, and the issue's current due date so blockers are resolved quickly.
Create Linear issues from Discord commands
Engineers can type a GAIA command in Discord to create a new Linear issue without leaving the chat. GAIA prompts for title, priority, and assignee, creates the issue, and posts the confirmation link back to the channel.
