Link customer feature requests from HubSpot to Linear engineering issues

Customer-facing teams log feature requests and bug reports in HubSpot every day. Engineering tracks their work in Linear. But the path from a HubSpot contact's request to a Linear issue on the sprint board is almost always a manual one — someone reads CRM notes, decides it is worth building, creates a Linear issue, and then forgets to update HubSpot when the feature ships.

GAIA closes the loop between customer feedback and engineering delivery. When a HubSpot deal or ticket contains a feature request that meets your threshold for engineering consideration, GAIA creates the Linear issue with full customer context attached. When engineering ships the feature in Linear, GAIA updates HubSpot and notifies the account owner so they can follow up with the customer.

Create Linear issues from HubSpot feature request tickets

When a HubSpot support ticket is tagged as Feature Request and meets your minimum deal-value threshold, GAIA creates a Linear issue with the customer context, associated deal value, and HubSpot ticket link so engineering has all the information needed to evaluate and prioritize.

Notify account owners when features ship

When a Linear issue linked to a HubSpot deal is marked Done, GAIA creates a HubSpot activity on the deal notifying the account owner that the requested feature has shipped, giving them a timely reason to reach out to the customer.

Aggregate customer demand to prioritize Linear backlog

GAIA counts how many HubSpot contacts have requested a given feature and writes that demand count to the corresponding Linear issue's metadata. Product teams can sort the Linear backlog by customer demand to inform sprint prioritization.

Link HubSpot bug reports to existing Linear issues

When a customer reports a bug in HubSpot that matches an already-open Linear issue by keyword or description similarity, GAIA links the HubSpot ticket to the existing issue and increments an affected-customers counter rather than creating duplicates.

Update HubSpot deal stage when engineering milestones are hit

When a Linear project associated with a HubSpot opportunity reaches a configurable completion percentage, GAIA moves the deal to the relevant pipeline stage — such as Feature In Beta — so sales stays in sync with engineering progress.

    Authorize GAIA with your HubSpot portal and Linear workspace. Define which HubSpot deal stages, ticket types, or properties should trigger Linear issue creation.

    Map HubSpot deal properties — company name, ARR, contact owner — to Linear issue fields or labels so engineering always sees the business context behind a feature request.

    Close the loop between customers and engineering

    GAIA monitors both platforms and propagates updates in both directions. Sales knows when features ship. Engineering knows how much customer demand backs each backlog item.

Yes. You can set a minimum associated deal value threshold so only feature requests from accounts above a certain ARR generate Linear issues automatically. Requests below the threshold are logged in GAIA's queue for manual review.
