When a task is assigned in Asana, GAIA sends a direct message to the assignee on Discord with the task title, description, due date, and a link to Asana, ensuring immediate awareness without email.

When an Asana milestone is reached, GAIA posts a milestone announcement to the relevant Discord channel or server announcement channel, giving the whole team visibility into major project achievements.
Overdue task alerts

Each morning GAIA posts a structured standup digest to a Discord channel listing tasks due today, tasks completed yesterday, and any blockers flagged in Asana, replacing manual standup preparation.

Authorize GAIA to access your Asana workspace and your Discord server. Configure which Asana projects or teams map to which Discord channels.

Select the Asana events — task creation, assignment, completion, overdue, milestone — that should generate Discord notifications, and specify the target channel or user for each event type.
